50,000 Photos and Counting
My father was a photographer; I grew up developing black and whites in our basement darkroom. After he passed away (6 years ago today) I purchased a Nikon D70, a digital SLR.
I have taken over 50,000 photos and on the 53,639th photo the reflector stuck upwards, I feared that the camera was dead.
I took the lens off, manually pushed the reflector into a “closed” position. And, while the CF card was out of the camera, fired the shutter. All is now well, and 53,640 and 41 photos look good.
